WINTER WEATHER FORCES TRAINING RACES TO RESCHEDULE AGAIN

OKLAHOMA CITY – There will be no training races conducted this week at Remington Park. Winter weather over the past two days has forced cancellation of this week’s schedule.

Remington Park had moved Wednesday, Feb. 20 training races to Friday, Feb. 22 with the training events set for today left as is. Mother Nature has not cooperated in Oklahoma City this week with winter blasts for much of the last 48 hours that included sleet, snow, rain and hail. Therefore, all training races this week will be moved to Monday, Feb. 25 and Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The Remington Park racing office still plans to run regularly scheduled training races on Wednesday, Feb. 27. As this time, three consecutive days of training races are planned for Monday thru Wednesday, Feb. 25-27. The action will begin each morning at 11:30am.

The American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season runs from March 8 and continues thru June 2 and marks the start of the 25th Anniversary Year of Horse Racing at Remington Park. Normal post time on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is 6pm with Sunday afternoon racing offered at 1:30pm.

Open daily at 10:30am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park.
