WEDNESDAY TRAINING RACES MOVED TO FRIDAY, DUE TO WEATHER

OKLAHOMA CITY – Due to possible severe weather forecast for Wednesday in central Oklahoma, the Training Races scheduled for the day have been postponed until Friday, Feb. 22.

Local weather forecasts are predicting heavy rain at the very least, possibly some winter-like activity as well. The 10 races originally set for Wednesday, Feb. 20 will be run on Friday, Feb. 22 with the first event leaving the starting gate at 11:30am.

Remington Park will conduct nine Training Races on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 11:30am. This will mark the second consecutive week the schooling events have been run on Thursday and Friday.

The American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season runs from March 8 and continues thru June 2 and marks the start of the 25th Anniversary Year of Horse Racing at Remington Park. Normal post time on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is 6pm with Sunday afternoon racing offered at 1:30pm.

Open daily at 10:30am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park.
